About Bria Trytten
Dr. Trytten has taught middle school Science in multiple settings and earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Science Education from the University of Kansas this year. She has a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Educational Technology from Baker University. Dr. Trytten received her B.A. in Elementary and Middle School Education with a concentration in Middle School Science from Emporia University. Her experience includes 16 years of education-related activities, including teaching 5th and 6th grade at Prairie Park Elementary School and teaching Forensic Science with the Discovery Science Center at the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Anaheim, CA where she was a Science Curriculum Specialist and Developer. For the past six years, she has been supervising and teaching student teachers in the areas of Science and Math at the University of Kansas and Washburn University. Mrs. Trytten's experience and knowledge in technology and developing and teaching science curriculum make her the perfect fit to continue building on the strong Science, STEM and Robotics program that we have in place at our school.
Our science program at Corpus Christi Catholic School is an interactive approach to science that keeps students engaged all year long!
